privacy
this is a personal site. it does not ask for your details, it does not sell anything, and it tries to stay out of your way. the one thing worth explaining is the music player, because it uses youtube.
what the site itself collects
nothing that identifies you. tabishbot.com sets no cookies of its own and has no sign-in, no forms, and no tracking pixels. basic, aggregate traffic counts come from vercel analytics, which is cookieless and does not build a profile of you.
the music player and youtube
the music player is optional and off by default. nothing loads until you tap play. it plays songs by embedding youtube (in privacy-enhanced “nocookie” mode), which is the honest, licensed way to play them rather than hosting audio here.
once you start playback, youtube content loads in your browser. at that point google may set cookies or similar storage and can receive data such as your ip address and what you play. that part is handled by google, under google’s privacy policy. if you never press play, none of that happens.
your last playlist, queue, and volume are remembered in your browser’s local storage so the player feels the same next visit. that stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. clearing your browser storage removes it.
what you can do
to avoid youtube entirely, just don’t press play. to clear what the player remembered, clear this site’s data in your browser settings. to manage what google does with youtube data, see your google account and google’s privacy controls.
